What is TSReader?

TSReader is an MPEG-2 transport stream software analyzer tool for legacy ATSC 1.0 digital TV. It enables inspection and recording of data carried in television streams used for satellite, cable, off-air and IPTV streaming such as UDP, RTP, HLS and MPEG-DASH. TSReader does not support ATSC 3.0, it only supports ATSC 1.0, Digicipher II, DVB, ISDB, and SCTE extensions to the base MPEG-2 specification. TvXplorer vs. TSReader

Airwavz TvXplorer™ supports the new ATSC 3.0 TV technology being deployed in the United States commercially known as NextGen TV.
TSReader supports the legacy ATSC 1.0 network, Digicipher II, DVB, ISDB, and SCTE extensions to the base MPEG-2 specification.
They are both professional test and measurement tools, but built for different digital TV technologies.
As of July 7, 2020 Airwavz.tv RedZone Receivers now work with TSReader. This means you can carry one TV tuner (RedZone Receiver) and use TSReader to get ATSC 1.0 TV if you don't have ATSC 3.0 TV near you (yet).
Requirements

This plugin is a free Source filter for TSReader that adds support for ATSC 1.0 using Airwavz.tv RedZone Receiver. It requires that you have a version of TSReader installed on your Windows 10 system, and a Redzone Receiver.
